I have a 2008 KR. I had the 6 disc cd and decided to go for the Navigation. I got a new 2008 Ford OEM nav unit. The only issue is that the sub plug does not fit. My plug is larger. All 3 plugs come from the main radio harness. The other 2 were Ok. Is there an adapter that I needed. The small plug is the sub outlet right?

Any Ideas?

Did the nav unit that you bought come from a vehicle with a sub? Some of the nav units do not have sub inputs. Does your nav unit look like this?

 

I found the 'problem' The sub plug had a termination plug on it which didn't look obvious
All is well now.
