DNX8120 Problem

I need some help from you tech guys out there. May be a simple answer. I was listening to the radio in the parking lot and my battery died. When I got jumped, my DNX8120 turned on but the screen is now blank. Could I have blown a fuse or is the system really messed up? Any solutions to try?

When all esle fails unplug everything and voila problem solved.
I need some input on my electrical system still. There is an annoying whining sound coming from my alternator. I think it is because I have 2 amps running off my battery??? What can I do to fix the whine noise or anything? I wanted to get e-fans but I am thinking that is way too many accesories on my battery. Anyone have any suggestions.

There is a small reset button on the front left. Mine did the same thing. All you had to do was hit the reset.

Kenwood screens are notorious for this. Just hit the reset button.

Mine has done the same thing, a half dozen times.
Freak'n annoying too! Each time, I have been disconnecting the main ground, off the battery. Which resets, but is a pain in the *** when your in a truck stop, going cross country!

I have noticed that mine tends to occur when I use my remote start, in a high moisture atmosphere. Like when it rains all night, then I start me truck. (Just a hunch right now.)

I'll try the reset next time. What do you use, a paper clip?

Thanks for the input.

I have something similar w/ mine. The screen locks when navigation functions are taking place and I use my steering wheel control to switch songs or stations. The odd thing is, for instance, the iPod interface freezes until the truck is turned off, but I can still switch to XM or DVD or Navigation without a problem.

well it was fixed fo a while only to lead to another problem. The hard buttons on the bottom of the system are now fried. Whenever I am listening to my ipod and try and use the volume button on the front of the system the volume malfunctons and goes to max volume if I touch them. For the time being I have just been usin the touch screen to control th volume or the remote. But the problem comes when other people that dont know decide to touch the volume. It nearly blows my eardrums and my speakers and amps. I need to get his problem fixed my only fear is I must send it back to Kenwood and I do not have the receipt it was a gift.
