AVIC F Subwoofer & PAC Install ?'s

Hello. I have an 05' F150 and started my AVIC F700BT install last night but am stuck with several questions:

1. I got the factory wiring harness but there is a third harness that plugged into the factory radio. I am assuming this is for the steering wheel controls. I bought the PAC unit (knowing that it will not control the presets) and I am wondering if there is a harness I can use so I don't have to cut the factory harness? If so please send a link or a part#.

2. I have a factory Sub-woofer. How do I hook this up to the AVIC unit? I have read a few posts where a resister is required. Do I need to hook up power to the sub or just connect the RCA cables from the AVIC unit?

3. Does anyone have detailed instructions on installing the PAC SWI-PS unit in an 05' F-150? The PAC instructions are confusing.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Regards,
WFR

Ill answer the best i can to the extent of my knowledge.
1. The SWC (steering wheel controls) DO NOT have thier own harness, it is only ONE wire on the actual radio plug. The color code for the wire eludes me at the moment. all you have to do is wire up your remote wire from the PAC unit to the other side of the factory connector (the one that youll be using to wire in your factory stereo should have an empty spot there or it may even already have a wire for that connection to be made)
Do you have SAT radio? The factory tuner connects to the stereo via a small connector. Mine was a non audiophile with two plugs, the regular radio plug and the sat plug (im assuming that this is the third plug many people are finding in the dash in other threads as well)

2 Most aftermarket kits include the sub plug adapter, it plugs into the factory sub plug and it has two rcas and a blue remote wire on the other end so you can wire up the aftermarket stereo. It is recommended to run a resistor or a voltage regulator to step the remote down to 5v from the aftermarket radios 12v output. I have to search for a thread but ill post it up for you.
I have the small harness you need pm me and you can have it for whatever it costs to ship, i wont be using it and it has sat in my electronics parts box for a good while now.

3 I have no clue, never ran a PAC to a pioneer deck before but i cant imagin it is that hard. Ill take a look at the instructions when i get a chance and see if i can make some sense of it.
