Question Steering Wheel Interface Problems

I am having problems programming the PAC-SWI-PS in my 07 supercrew. All wires are hooked up correctly but the volume still won't work. Anyone have any advice?

What kind of deck are you trying to attach it to? The SWI-PS only works with Pioneer, Sony, and I think Jensen?

Let me know!

Hey can you do me a favor and let me know how this turns out? I have a 05 screw and have an 700BT on the way. I also ordered the PAC unit but I am getting conflicting info on whether or not this works with the F150 & the 700BT. Crutchfield says it is compatible but PAC says the presets won't work (I can live with that) but apparently some owners are not having these issues. Any info would be greatly appreciated....

CLH74 - You mentioned that all the wires are hooked up correctly, but did you assign the steering wheel buttons to the functions you want them to control? After it's hooked up it the unit needs to be configured, it won't do anything if it's not done.

I've got the F90BT with the same SWI-PS and it works, although it's not as cool as I'd hoped it would be - control isn't as responsive or predictable as with the factory system. Oh well, the headunit still rocks so it's worth it. I've heard rumors that a revision of the SWI-PS should be out soon - that was a couple months ago, haven't followed up on it yet.

The SWI-PS is pre-programmed for Pioneer and Sony receivers but it still needs to learn the individual buttons from the vehicle and these do need to be done in a specific order.
