Not sure what Head Unit I have

Not sure what Head Unit I have.
I have is a 6 disc chngr with the factory sub. Thats it nothing fancy.

I want to put in a Nav Unit, but not sure what will fit.
I'm happy w/a factory one if it works.
I just need to get the model # to know what to look for.

Thanks for the info.

I thought there was only two types, regular cd player then the audophile stuff. If you're going to get a Nav unit it's a double din slot (DD code) and pretty mcuh anything will go in there so no worries. I have a Pioneer Avic D-3 in my 05 and a Pioneer Avic F90bt in my 08. Hit up crutchfield.com and they will tell you what fits but there are tons of options for the double din.

Not sure why it really matters what unit you have if you want a nav unit. You can get a factory unit but they usually need to be reprogrammed at at that point you could have gotten an aftermarket unit with better options and fancier stuff.

Agreed. Aftermarket will cost less and do more.

I have the same head unit in mine though. 6 disc, non-mp3, but With the subwoofer and front "components".

I just figured a used factory one would be less expensive and would fit for sure.

He wants nav...AVH's dont do Nav.

Look into the Kenwood DNX5120 or Pioneer AVIC F900BT (or 700BT if you dont need it to play DVD's).

Yeah I don't need it to play DVDs.
I didn't think about that.
Thanks for the catch Sundevil.
I will check out the Pioneer.
