can anyone please tell me exactly where the gps (oem) antenna is mounted under the dash? pictures if you have any......thanks in advance, keith elliott in south carolina

 

Not sure where it comes from the factory, but I added a factory system to my 2005. When you have everything apart, there is a horizontal metal brace that runs under the top dash tray. That's where I put my OEM antenna, and it works great.

BTW, I think that is where most put them who upgrade, I got the location from threads on here.

 

That is were I put mine and it works fine.

 

The factory mount location (on my '08) is under the Instrument Cluster Beauty Panel (the top part of the gauge cluster). It's the part that has the dome over the gauges.

When you remove the piece, there is a metal bracket that the OEM GPS antenna clips in to. Sorry, I didn't take any pics when I installed mine.
