Factory Navigation

I recently bought a Ford Factory Navigation from a 2007 Expedition for my 2005 F 150 and when i went to get it installed they told me that it wouldnt power on. Would i have to Get it reprogrammed? If i do, where can i get it programmed?

Thanks

Do a search on ebay Motors for "Ford Navigation." There's usually a guy there in Addison, TX - near Dallas, who will do it for $69. I've got his info written down here somewhere. If I find it I'll post it, but he's usually on ebay.

Yep, I found him. I talked to him and he said it would work and everything. I would hate to ask this but is he trust worthy? should I feel comfortable sending him my navigation?

Can't help with that - I never talked with him, just saw his listing while I was searching for a NAv unit. If you talked with him you should have some sense of whether he knows what he's talking about. Then go back to ebay and read his feedback - that will give you some idea. All else fails, be up front with him and ask for a couple of references you can call.
