Factory 07 Navigation Problem

Since I removed my factory Navigation radio to replace my temp blend door, twice when turning the truck on the Sirius touch buttons and display were blank. I could still change channel and hear the music fine. Everything works OK also on all other modes. Turn the radio on and off and the buttons and text appear.

Anyone have this problem before? What should I do?

Is there a way to do a full reset of the radio? I noticed this radio keeps time and presets even after being removed from the truck.

Try pulling the wire harness out from the unit, waiting a few seconds, plug it back in and turn the truck on. It may reset automatically. Hope this helps. - Og

The only way to do a full reset is take the B+ terminal off and holding it to the B- terminal for 5 seconds. While its on the - terminal, honk the horn 15x. This will normally discharge all the caps, clearing all memory. Oh and it is safe, I have done this on anything from F150's to an 06 MB CLS550.
