I have an 06 F150 KR and Ive had an Eclipse AVN6600 for about 2 years now without the first problem. Well, lately my Sirius radio in the AVN continuously updates. It will update for like 2 days then stop updating for 30 minutes or so then start updating again. Its been doing this for about 3 weeks non stop. Have any of you had this problem and is this a problem with Sirius or my head unit ? Is there a fix ?? Should I update Firmware ?? I am going to try disconnecting the battery and see what that does but it is annoying and I cannot use any of my controls while its updating.

Make sure all the E-Lan cables are secure first. But then start looking at your Sirius box.

 

My AVN updates more than I would like, but only for 5-10 seconds max...nothing like you described.

I was wondering if my sat input connector was getting loose.

Call the Eclipse techs. I've called them before, they will answer.
