Question Need Nav/GPS Antenna Part Number

Can anyone give me the Ford Part Number or an Aftermarket Part Number for the Antenna that connects to the Late Model Ford Navigation/GPS Units? Where to buy one? I have a 7C3T-18K931-AG Nav Unit programmed for my 2006 F-150 and No Antenna.
Also, where should the Antenna be mounted? On the outside of the Truck? Thanks in advance for any help or advice...

You can get the antenna on Ebay for like 10 bucks. I mounted mine in the dash under the middle tray. There's a metal bracket under there and the antenna sticks to it nicely.

Thanks but I want to be sure I get one with the correct plug-in. All of those on eBay look as if they are "universal' and not Ford specific, where they plug into the HU.. Still looking for the correct Ford part number.

Do as you wish.......but, the Ebay ones work perfectly!.....the plug is the same as the Ford one........and for something that you can't see.......why spend the extra dough?

i bought the trimmble antenna but it has a male end rather than the female end needed. Did i get the wrong one? I saw that there is a Panasonic one with the female connector on E-bay as well, is this the one i need?

what antenna do you have? I am lloking to add an antenna to my F350 Factory Nav and SAT antenna, the roof antenna gets blocked when my camper is put on. I am thinking of adding another antenna to the hood . Is your antenna Sat and GPS combination? I may be interested.
