A/V Guys

My GF is getting me a Navi system for my DDX-7015 Kenwood Double Din for Chirstmas. I just dont know which one to get. There is 4 to choice from.

KNA-DV4100
KNA-DV3200
KNA-DV3100
KNA-G510

Which one is best? I believe i was told the the DV models are DVD based and has has a DVD upgrade since 04. I was told that the G510 was memory card based and updatedable off the internet. Is this true? Which should i go with?

I have the G510 and it's pretty much the same as a dash mounted Garmin. Well that's because it's made by Garmin. I can't say it's better than the others but I'd buy it again if it ever needs replaced. I got mine off ebay for like 1/2 the price of normal channels.

Does it use a memory card? Is it updateable?

Can you tell me please? Also think you could tune my system, how much? Think i got it set pretty much as good as it gets but may have more in it.

All MB Quart highs and 2 MB Quart 10" subs. All SQL powered by JL 300/2 front, 300/2 rear, 500/1 subs.

No problem. I really would go for the G510.

Just email me and we can go from there.

Yea it's updateable. Just download the updates from the garmin website to a compact flash card and follow the instructions.

Congrats bro, you should just be able to hide it underneath the oval on top of the dash.

Yes, ground Lt. Grn pk. brake wire.

Got everything hooked up, very very very simple install. The thing that took the longest time was getting all the wires and cables out the way from behind the TV so it would slide all the way back into the dash. Took a few mins to set up and it works great.

If you want to have the DVD available while driving, ground the parking wire to the frame, not the park switch

Been there and down that 4 years ago when it was installed. The Navi parking switch is what i was talking about.
