Ipod????

i have a 2006 f150 xlt i want to put my ipod in my truck im sick of 6 thousand cds
What are my options to wire it in?

first, what h/u do you have? I put an Alpine h/u in mine and have the iPod control in the glovebox.

its a stock head unit the truck audio is totally stock i wanted to know if theres anyway to do the ipod on a stock head unit

Yes, there are a few ways. The PIE as it is referred to is about $65 on ebay and it hooks inline to add an AUX port and it works with the button on the stock HU. The next option is to the the ipod attachment for a ford w/ satellite but it will make the HU control the ipod as well as charge it but it is a little bit more money and limits you only to an ipod, no other non-apple devices. http://www.f150store.com/Shop/ViewPr...84&SortOrder=1

IMO FM modulation is not worth a hoot, ever.

By chance do you have the LINE IN port on your dashboard-look at the tray on top of the dash-left corner. Some models do and some dont. If you have this all you need is an auxillary cable to plug into your IPOD like your headphones do, then plug into the line in on the dash and it should play.
