My '07 SCREW Lariat has the reverse sensing system that "chirps" when you start to approach an obstacle behind you.

If I replace the audiophile HU with an aftermarket in-dash nav system, will I lose the reverse sensor sound?

 

No you wont lose the beeping sound. There is a separate speaker somewhere under the dash.

It may sound stoopid, but I wouldn't want to give up the reverse sensor.

 

You'll be fine, I upgraded my stereo and the backup sensors work fine. I didn't even think about that possibility though...
