I have an Itunes/ Sync ?

I buy all my music through Itunes. How come I can not transfer songs from my itunes to a USB memory stick and get them to play on my new 2009 F150 with Sync. It gives me a message that " No media Found". Can anybody explain to me what I need to do to be able to use my itune song on a memory stick? Yes, I do have an ipod but I also wanted to be able to use a memory stick at times. Thanks

Its due to the fact that the songs you purchased are "protected" by iTunes. Meaning, they only play on iPods or your computer that is linked to your iTunes. Is that a big pile o' poop. YES, and iTunes has started selling unprotected music which you will see in the iTunes store has a grey + icon by it. So, what your options are is this:

1. Bow down to Apple and dont play your music anywhere except where they say you can

or

2. Convert your music! Go to http://www.wikihow.com/Convert-Prote...to-a-Plain-MP3 or do a google search for "convert protected music" or "itunes protected songs" or "convert acc file" whatever, you get the jist. That first link should certainly do the trick.

Hope that helps you maximize your super sweet sync system!

SHEOOOOWWWW that is EXACTLY what I needed - it's SO annoying when I buy a new media toy for me or the kids, go back and try to put our music on our new toy just to find that it will no longer allow me to.

Thanks much, this is a terrific comprehensive article with enough solutions that anyone should be able to find the perfect set-up!
