Avic-f90bt

i used the search feature, but couldnt find anything useful on the installing the AVIC-F90BT !!

Also has anyone installed the AVIC-F90BT or any of the other F-series double dins into a 07 F150 SCREW.

I was hoping to see a picture, before i went ahead and bought it. I still like the clean factory look, and hope that the AVIC-F90BT doesnt look too bad !!

Thanks guys, in advance.

no offense but I would even install a stock nav headunit in my truck. Aftermarket offers so many more features for the price of a lot of stock units. Take a look at the Pioneer Z3. The Z3 looks just like the stock unit with better wattage, bluetooth, rear view camera (if you dont have it from the factory) etc. I could be wrong but I was told that Pioneer makes the stock Navi's for Ford.

As long as it has the new software update then your fine. I like the system. Yeah its slo to startup but its doing alot when booting. Loading Ipod, updated voice recongnition, loading nav maps, splash screen, connecting your phone..... But the last music you had on will play within 30secs you just cant change anything for a min while its booting.

Fireman, how is visibility of the screen when the sun is bright and there's lots of glare? I've found that my radio and climate controls are hard to see and I'd hate to not be able to see my brand-new beautiful DVD/Nav system.

If you purchase from Crutchfield everything is included (dash kit). If not you can also purchase the kit separately from them.
