Hey Guys,

I'm looking at an Alpine IVA-W505 with a blackbird, duel headrest monitors and a backup camera system. The guy said that he would sell me everything installed for $2550.

First, have you heard anything good or bad about the W505 and secondly, does this sound like a good price?

All depends what brand the Headrest and BU cam is.

But all in all its not a bad price. Hell the W505 and BBII is normally around 1400.

 

Having recently had a W205, (Stolen) I did get to play with the 505 and to be completely honest with you. The menus are clunky and I prefer to have the 205

There are only three things that make the 505 newer over the 205.

1. Screen is better and a tad larger
2. Ability to use IMPRINT
3. Video ipod support.

However, those being said, you can use a secondary ipod connection with a 205 to make it work with ipod video.

Current price on the 505 is 999 and the B200 is 599.

If you were buying all that at the same time the dealer should be giving you a deal.
