Magellan dash pod navigation

I bought this thing for $380 and it's a piece of crap, I'm going to return it. It wont turn on, and when it does it's just a blue screen and freezes often!

Should I have them send me another one or will it most likely be a piece of crap too???

We have a Magellan and a Blaupunkt Navi. The Blaupunkt was three times the price of the Mag and still i prefer the Magellan a lot over the Blaupunkt. Its fast and easy to use. The Blaupunkt has a lot more functions, which make it more complicated and slower. All i´m asking for is to find my destination anyway. Never had any technical problems with the Magellan.
In the handbook was a little note saying that on initial startup the screen might be off (due to auto. settings), asking people to go into the menue to adjust the settings and reset before sending the unit back with warranty claims...Good luck

I think you have to go back into the menue and go to "Factory setting" or something like that. There you find the reset and screen functions. I´ll check on mine and post if i was wrong with that. Good luck with it...

Dashtop tray replacement

Do you guys know of anything else that can replace the dashtop storage tray besides a GPS? I am looking for something with a pod like the Megellan, but I would like it to house a satellite radio. Anyone seen something like that?
