Myron & Davis overhead dvd install help

I have an '04 Scab I just bought the Myron & Davis ADM190 for the overhead. I heard it was an easy install and it seems like it is but I am completely confused about the dome light wires that it is supposed to get power from. I have 3 black wires and 1 white wire I dont know which is what. They're all numbered 1-4 but that could mean anything please help.

I'm just screwed, I give up

I used a voltmeter and became more confused by the dome light 3 of the wires read 12volts and 1 is a ground. All the manual says is "remove dome light and install" thats it. I took it to five electronics shop around and they cant tell by looking they have a special tool that can figure it out but it will cost $300 for them to check and install because nobodys ever seen a rail dvd player before only heard about them and dont really know what they are doing. I tried to just rig it myself shocked the hell out of myself and completely burned the backside of dome light(that was a $117 replacement from ford dealership):o now my interior smells like burnt plastic butt. Since the dvd player has nearly surpassed what i paid for it in damages to my truck and personal pride i'm probably just gonna "Office Space" it and rid humanity of its terror.

Well before you decide to "office space" it, sell it to me...I've been looking for one used.
