hey, fellas i was wondering if anybody could tell me if the w205 played .avi files. Or mp3's burned on a dvd. does anybody have the alpine usb kca-620m and what files will it let you play, like through a portable hard drive. thanks in advance. if anybody can help. rock on truckers!!!!

 

Don't know about .avi files, but it does .mp3 files on CD's and DVD's. My hard drive is a 60G iPOD connected thru the Alpine adaptor this works great! If you want to see it installed go to my photos at:

I have the W205 in my truck, Im not sure about the .avi files either. I also have an iPod connected to mine with the Alpine adaptor. I love it.
