GPS: Which one should I buy???? Help!!!

Hello all,

I am ready to buy a GPS, but have no idea which one? I would like for some recommendations as well as pros and cons of each. I see a lot of members seem to have Garmins. I assume they are some of the better ones? If so, which model? I went to their website and they had a ton! I just really need some help in choosing one that is easy to use and that isn't going to break the bank. Thanks in advance!

I have a Garmin Nuvi 360 and really, really like it. The display is very easy to read and the voice prompts are very easy to understand. Highly recommend this unit.

What did you pay for the 360 if you don't mind me asking? Any cons to it?

I too have the Nuvi 360.....I just got it January 2nd........it's my second Garmin and third GPS.......it's very portable and definitely the easiest to use........

Wait til the first week in February............Costco is going to have the 360 available at probably the best price anywhere.........

I thought you had a Kenwood head unit in your truck w/ the 6 or 7 inch screen. I don't remember, it's been a while since I saw you. Have you thought about seeing if there is a GPS module for you stereo?

I bought Microsoft streets and trips...It was a hundred bucks with a bluetooth gps. Now granted, it is not as nice as a portable, but it is nice to have on my computer so that I can plot my day of travels and stops. Just an economical suggestion if your wallet is a little light.

I have a Alpine W205. I could get the Blackbird and dock it, but they are so pricey compared to the Garmin GPS systems out there. The initial report that I've heard about the Blackbirds is so so.

If I remember correctly I paid $540 for my 360, but I think it can be found cheaper then when I bought mine a couple months back. I'd say there are absolutely no cons to this unit at all.

Looks like Costco will be selling them soon. No price yet, but I expect a good price from them.

1700 bucks for the integrated unit, or 750 for the blackbird??

Holly Cow! ........I had no idea they ever sold for that much.........I ordered mine on new years eve and paid $297.20 for it with free overnight shipping......showed up on January 2nd.......

I bought it from a site called www.zappos.com...with a 110% price match to www.buydig.com........but, in checking just now I see they no longer list that model.........maybe they're just out of stock??

I expect Costco to have it for $299.00.........
