Contact Dominic at ARC 781-721-0092 Cost is $100

He did mine, but I think he is in NY or NJ, everything works and turn around was quick.

Most Nav units have to be reprogrammed for your specific vehicle. If it was removed from a mustang, expedition etc, and install in and F150 or something else it will not work until its programmed to work with the configuration of the vehicle its being installed in.

Correct the factory Nav units needs to be programmed for the specific vehicle. Each vehicle type has its own configuration, steering wheel controls, subs, can-bus configurations, etc.

I purchased a Nav from a 2007 Expedition, however it wouldn't work in my 2005 F150 until I had it reprogrammed. Once programmed everything worked great, added a sub and amp, steer wheel controls work, so all is good.

Did anyone use Ebay programmer yet? I have navi that needs reprogramming, I hate to ship it across country to MA from WA. Besides, the price is better than $150, excluding s/h charge from the MA shop.

You might be right, I just got reply from Ebayer about my question regarding compability with my 04 FX4 to 07/08 navi unit, and an Ebayer told me it is NOT compability. Can someone here comfirm this, 'cause I just purchased a unit and I'm gonna be if it doesn't work.
