bypass question

bypass question

i'm installing my clarion max675vdII this weekend, but i have 1 question if i get the $40 bypass will i still need a toggle switch so it would operate properly or will the bypass just work when i turn on the truck?

When you turn it on it will be ready to go.

Just installed one of those on Sunday. You're going to love it. It looks awesome in the new 150 dash. With the Metra kit, mine is sticking out about 1/4 inch. It could go deeper but was catching a little on the bottom so I moved it out a little. Good luck with the install.

putting a toggle switch on the wire that goes to the switched 12v will make it so the screen is bypassed and not bypassed when you flip the switch, which is handy when you get pulled over just turn it off and show him that the screen doesnt work

ok so.....no clarion for moi..it happens that our friends at sonic electronix have the clarion on back order and had i not called them i wouldnt have known (excellence in customer service). so i will be getting the jvc avx800 from crutchfield with free rearview cam for abt same price. is there video bypass for this unit? unfortunately there are no forums on this. is it as simple as toggle switch or grounding the wire or am i s.o.l. if s.o.l dnx7100 here i come.
