Question Alpine or Kenwood - Help

I just bought a 2005 Ford F150 with the single cd headunit. I love the truck so far, but being an audio kinda guy I am already looking to upgrade the stereo. For me I want something that does a good job with Nav and iPod uplink. The other accesories are cool too, but not as important as those two. Right now I am looking at a Kenwood DNX7100 or a Apline IVA-W205 with the Dock and Rock Nav unit. Any input or opinions from you guys would be great.

I'm voting for the Alpine. I got one and love it! I do not have a Blackbird yet, but I hope to get one soon. I love the interface with my iPod.

Kenwood all the way. Will never look back. Plus alpine is notorious for problems and they get uglier every year.

Kenwood DNX7100!

Gentlemen,

I went with the Kenwood DNX7100 with bluetooth...the unit is awesome and has Garmin interface...great interface quite easy to use, maximizes the iPod...Bluetooth great but does not interface great with a Treo 700wx yet....still working on that.

LOVE IT! and the 04 Screw it is in!

The dnx7100 is the way to go. From the ipod interface to the bluetooth interface and awesome nav from garmin which in my opinion is the easiest to use. It is also install friendly unllike the alpine, no extra brain to install. Even my wife loves it in her audi.

Not a head unit but I went with the Alpine over the Kenwood for an overhead dvd in my wife's car. I now wish I had gone with the Kenwood. The play button on the Alpine rattles like crazy.
