My trip to the city!
I'm posting this for anyone that is undecided on whether or not they want a navigation system. We just returned home from a vacation to St. Louis, which I strongly suggest if you haven't been there before. Anyway we used our navigation system in the Chrysler minivan and it was an awesome experience. It was literally like having a local resident that knew where everything was; including peoples houses, riding in the backseat giving advanced notice of what lane to be in and where to turn. If you travel much and need directions its night and day better than direction you can download on the computer and print out. I also like the idea of not having to get out and ask for directions when I have my kids with me. Thankfully those days are over. They don't exactly give the navigation systems away, but they are an investment well worth it. Hope this helps those that are researching and trying to decide if they need one.
my sister's boyfriend has a hand held one that he throws up on the dash at night, and you can see the screen reflection in the window. Its pretty cool, its like GM's heads up display
I must agree. We have used our Blackbird in San Diego twice, Washington DC area, Kansas City and locally in OK City. They are great to have. Ours has yet to make a mistake.
Going to use my friends Garmin from Chicago to Kohler, Wisconsin in two weeks and my wife is headed to San Antonio with the Blackbird.
