Well I just bought a Blackbird along w/ the dock for my W200 head and when I mount the blackbird in the dock it's not recognized. I called Alpine's tech support and was told the version I'm running on the Blackbird is too old and I needed to update it. I tried calling a few different authorized Alpine dealers in my area and they all said they don't have a disk. I called back Alpine to see if they could send me a disk and they told me they don't do that anymore. I could send the unit in to them and they would update it. Does anyone have a disk they could just burn for me? I would pay of course. -Thanks in advance!

 

sorry to hear that, i dont have a blackbird but Alpine shouldnt do that crap to you after you bought all those things from them, have you tried ebay people sell them there i believe

 

Yes...I have sent a message to someone on Ebay...that is selling a unit, and in their picture they show the disk. I asked if they could burn me a copy.
