I just had the dealer install a factory Navigation on my '07 FX4. The little GPS icon in the upper-right portion of the screen has a red circle with a line through it. Apparently I'm not picking up any satalites. The map icon does not follow roads. PLEASE HELP! Is this an easy fix? I really don't want to take it back to the dealer unless i have to. Thanks.

 

I'd check the antennae location and make sure it's plug in to the deck. But the dealer should've verified that it was working before they returned the truck to you.

Yeah, sounds like the idiots didn't plug in the GPS antenna. Take it back. I know it's a hassle, but since you paid for it, make them fix it. - Og

 

or pop that sucker out yourself and check.

Its very easy to pull the HU out of the F150. I can do it in 2 min or less.
Just take it easy with the trim piece, don't jerk on it.

When the trim is off you can prob just feel where the leads are and if they are plugged in or not. You will be able to see behind there pretty well.

Or take the 4 screws out and gently pull the unit out and see if it all looks right.
