Clarion MAX675VD $679

or this Kenwood Kenwood Excelon DDX8017 Rebuilt for $699 plus add a 5 year extended warranty for like $80. Damn good deal on a $1100 headunit.

yes i do have this unit. installed it 2 weeks ago, and absolutely love it. the ipod interface is one of the best i have seen. there is only 1 downside to this unit, it only has 1 cd slot, so if you want to watch a movie or listen to a cd, you have to take the nav disc out. you can still use the navigation without the disc in, but you have to program your route first(the d3 will store it to memory), then take the disc out. i don't know how much it can remember so it may ask for the disc again. easy fix if you have an ipod. just leave the nav disc in at all times and use your ipod for music, etc... this unit can also play your movies off of your video ipod.

head over to the 04+ forum, there is 3 threads over there we have been discussing this unit.

for the price nothing beats this unit, especially since it does damn near everything.

D3 is a great choice. I got mine for $812 with shipping, wire harness, and face plate. Still learning about the unit because I only drive my truck 1-2 times a week.

Would go with the Pioneer D3. New model and lower price, plus as stated above you can do everything..

Thats what I'm getting..

Plus you can watch movies while you drive..

KIDDING.. no really you can

Got mine on ebay for 599. Well worth it. Ipod control, satelite radio, good *** screen. You can even add on NAV. I think theres not much out there can beat it.

no need to pay extra for nav with the d3, it comes with the unit. you can get the d3 for $709. much better deal than the clarion.

I almost agree and this was my second choice. I went with the clarion because I can watch a movie and use the GPS.The nav system is seperate, but it is a 30gb HD which is updated via usb and I dont have to worry about discs. But the D3 is a good choice.
