Backup Camera connections
Backup Camera connections

I was debating about doing a similar visor install but ended up with the Power Acoustic 7" hang-on rearview mirror/monitor.
I'm currently in the process of doing the install on my 2007 SC and I'm looking for some confirmation that I'm wiring everything up correctly.
From the PTM-750 there are four wires:
1) A green wire (labelled BACK) is the reverse wire input. I'm planning to connect this to the Vehicle Backup lamps (Black/Pink wire).
2) A red wire (labelled REM?) which is ACC and should be connected to a switched 12V off the ignition key. I'm planning to connect this to the Trailer battery feed wire on, which is hot with the key in run only (Orange wire).
3) A yellow wire (labelled B+) with an inline fuse shouldgo to a constant 12V supply for the memory. I'm planning to connect this to the Battery feed (fused trailer brake controller battery feed) on the tow package pigtail (red wire).
4) A black wire is for ground and I'll connect this to the pigtail ground (white wire).
For the camera (Boyo VTL200) I plan to connect the power on a switch. One input being the Bk/Pk so the camera is only on when the vehicle is in reverse and the other input is the Orange Trailer battery feed, which is hot with the key in run only.
Does all of this make sense?
Also, is there an easy way to tap in to the wires that are not on the pigtail? I've managed to find the wires and don't want to cut them.
Thanks in advance.

Finished the backup camera and monitor installation as per the connections above and everything is working as expected. I ended up tapping in to the Orange and Black wires at the back end of the truck.
Case closed.
