Exclamation Nobutton lights on Navi

I just installed a brand new Navi unit into my F150 FX4 and everything works except for the backlit buttions when I turn on the headlights. When I so into the Day/Night settings, I noticed that the Auto dim feature isn't working. Would that have something to do with it?

silly question but where is your dimmer set at for your domelight/dimmer. Your buttons might dim with the dash. Just throwing some stuff out there.

I tried that. I took the Navi out, put the 6 disck back in, the lights work, re-hooked the Navi and still nothing. I checked the wireing harness that is posted on another forum in here and all the wires match up. I ran the 7L3Z code from the part number and that checks out through FORD. The one thing that I do notice is that in the settings for the auto dim, I don't have that option.

It is probably not programmed correctly, you can hold down the 3 and 6 button to enter the diagnostics mode. You can fool around in there and see if you can fix it, but it will probably not work. If you bought it from Mark then he will help you get it going. If you did not buy it from him, then he can hlp you but you will need to pay the reprogramming fee. His number is on the forum, just look around if you don't already have it.
