DVD Prep Package
Can anyone tell me how I can tell if I have the DVD Prep package??? It is not on my window sticker but there is a hole in my roof with some wires up there. Not sure if I shouold start pulling the wires out. Thanks
Sorry for the delayed response.
My '05 has the OEM overhead rail DVD system. If you are still wanting to find out if you have the wiring paqckage, let me know. I will drop the DVD down off the rails and chck what kind of connector is used.
Do you have the audiophile 6 disk changer in the dash? You need that to run the DVD.

I got the DVD wiring added when I ordered my truck. When I remove the one flip down piece that comes with the truck there is a hole in the headliner and a sticker that states it is DVD ready. I reached up there and there are wires and a plug to plug it into...some day.
www.f150store.com has a DVD player but I am not sure if it works with the stereo.

It looks like it uses an FM Modulator.
