No, Ive always looked at them and asked about it at the dealership but they all seem pretty expensive I have found some on ebay for a lower price.

I have them on my new truck and they just snap on to the rails and for me are quite usefull, but the ones from Ford are expensive for what you get and what they do.

Sorry for the delayed response.

My '05 has the OEM overhead rail DVD system. If you are still wanting to find out if you have the wiring paqckage, let me know. I will drop the DVD down off the rails and chck what kind of connector is used.

Do you have the audiophile 6 disk changer in the dash? You need that to run the DVD.

I got the DVD wiring added when I ordered my truck. When I remove the one flip down piece that comes with the truck there is a hole in the headliner and a sticker that states it is DVD ready. I reached up there and there are wires and a plug to plug it into...some day.

www.f150store.com has a DVD player but I am not sure if it works with the stereo.

It looks like it uses an FM Modulator.

Keeping the kids entertained while traveling just got a whole lot easier. We have spent months researching integrated DVD entertainment systems and finally found 2 options that blend seamlessly into the F150. Additional accessories available are a 170 Watt power inverter supply 120V to a video game console and additional sets of wireless headphones.

Features:

• Mounts to factory overhead rails
• Built-in DVD player with 7.8” screen
• Built-in FM Modulator
• Built-in Infrared Head phone signal
• Install with 2 wires (to factory dome light) & 4 screws
• Headphones sold separately
