That depends on if you want the rear seats up or down. I don't think that you are going to fit a W7 under your seat, it needs 9.5in to mount it and the woofer moves out another 1.20in. A custom box would be your answer, you would need about 1500 Rms although JL makes a stealth box for your truck w/ a W3 in a ported box that fits under your seats. JL does have a new sub that is a shallow mount and only needs 2.50 inches mounting depth in 12'' and 13.5. For the door speakers you need to find out what power handling they take and get a seperate 4 channel amp, or you could just get a 5 channel and just have one amp. You should take a look at JL and Kickers readers rides on there website it may give you some ideas. Hope this helps.

Can you? Yes. Down firing? Yes with Earthquake subs. Forward firing? Yes but you will have to make some mods to get a box big enough to fit. Check out Diamond Subs. I would stay away from MTX anything but that is just my opinion.

If you check a recent thread...if you wait just a tad longer you can get the new Alpine stuff that is incredible. IVA-W205. Bad system and totally configurable.

What ever you decide remember this is a highly personal choice and question. Your ears are different than our ears. My advice is to really look around on the forum and check out some of the gallaries...you can really learn a lot on this forum.

Just a quick note: for the doors you want a 4 channel amp....unless you put separates in the front then you don't need speakers in the back. In that case you can get more power from a 2 channel amp. For the subs you want a mono block. For 12's you need 2 things. Power and air space or they sound like chit.

BTW, Steelshot eh? How many ducks did you get this year?

Ah so that is the reason why we don't have many ducks down here right now...you have been keeping em all to yourself. Duck was really slow this year due to the lack of rain. Dove was also bad but opening day was good b.c we got mostly locals. My buddies all hunt up in Ark and they said it was slow.

Let us know if you need more help with your install and the payment will be birds....freez em and ship em!!

well, if you want the JL w7 which is my favorite speaker i might add, you arent going to have a back seat..plain as that. and you would want to run a JL 1000.1 to each of those subs, that would be ideal. however, i have heard them plenty of times with just 1 jl 1000.1 to both. still, you wouldnt be unhappy. as for the mids and highs, i would reccomend the JL XR compnents. i have them in my truck and they scream! i also0 have the JL 300.4 running those as well. kicker makes some affordable mids and highs as well. check into the KS series.

if you need your back seat, stealthbox is a good option or even a custom enclosure with a couplf of tens for example.. check my gallery.
