Thank you guys sooooo much.......I am going to get those MB Quart components. My installed likes Phoenix amps with mb quart setups.....are they any good ???

 

I haven't had any real luck with the newer pheonix gold stuff. It seems thier amps like alot of other companies got cheaper and lost quality in the last few years. I would stay with something that you know is going to be reliable and clean. If you aren't a fan of JL then try, MA audio, Alpine, or Kicker. Ask him why he likes the pheonix gold amps, if he says they just sound better, then you might want to look around to other installers. If he tells you that he has installed 10 -15 cars with them and had great success and has some pics to back it up then maybe. Pheonix might make some good amps, but I know they make some really cheap low end stuff as well. So don't let him try to slide something in on you.

Good luck see if you can have the installer take some pics, I would like to see how he mounts the amps and such.

 

I will take pics of the complete install but it will be a month or so.....gotta get all this stuff then pay for the install. The installer is a friend of mine so it will be much cheaper than taking it to a shop but still gunna charge me something. He said he likes Phoenix because it is a good economical amp. He said the JL is no question a better amp but it costs so much. Course, I am getting quality everything else, I dont want to skimp on the amp.

i have a pro box, 2 10" cross fire subs, a 320 watt tma amp, and JL audio components. JL and crossfire you cant beat.
