Eclipse AVN5435: IPC-106 work?

Does the Eclipse IPC-106 integrate with the AVN5435?

If you have a video iPod, will it show the video on the deck??

I seem to remember reading a little about that setup over on a Tundra message board (while researching the 5435)... I seem to recall that it didn't work? Can't remember for sure though...

Let us know what you discover.

BTW, your apple.com link is dead.

Hmm, weird.

Apple iPod AV Cable
The iPod AV Cable provides composite video and audio output for viewing photo slideshows with music on a TV. Compatible with iPod with color display. This cable is made specifically for iPod with color display (other AV cables are not compatible with iPod with color display).

I hope this cable works..

Try this:

I have the avn5500 and the ipc06 and they AREN'T compatible...sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt....my suggestion is to upgrade to the avn6600 when you can afford it....its definately worth it....you can get a tv tuner for it, use the ipc06 to its full capabilities, and do some other cool stuff...check ebay...thats where i got mine...definately the cheapest!!

what functions will (would) I have with this IPC-106 and the Ipod? Does anyone currently have this set up with the avn 5435? Not trying to hijack this thread but i'm not looking for video use with the Ipod.

I'm actually hoping for Video and Audio more then just control from the deck.

I don't mind controlling the ipod from the actual ipod, I just want the sound and video.
