Exclamation AVIC Z1 help!!

Okay, last thread turned up no response so here goes #2.
Is there any way to bypass E-brake wire for the TV tuner that goes with the
AVIC Z1?

I don't know anything about the TV Tuner, but if it unlocks along with the rest of the Z1, it depends on the manufacture date. If your Z1 is manufactured after July 06, you have to ground the parking break wire and an unterminated pin on connector 2. If it is June 06 or before, your best bet is to buy a headlight flasher circuit from DucatiBoy.

All the information you need is at avic411.com. And you might want to pose your question there, it's a great resource.

You can bypass everything on the Z1 with a ducati bypass if you have a pre-july unit.

Or if you have a post July unit you can bypass it by grounding another pin on the harness (I forget which one). However, go to www.avic411.com and you'll find all the answers and more to your new Z1 regarding bypassing security etc in the Z1 forum on that site.
