Does anyone know how well the reception is on any of the TV tuners for mobile use? I want to add one to my Kenwood but I've never heard any opinions, good or bad, about any of the mobile TV tuners.

I've got the TV tuner on my 7 year old Kenwood unit, and it works like a champ if you are in a larger media market. Works ok in smaller areas too. Oddly enough, I can carry very good TV reception along most interstates. Of course, when parked, the reception is much better but its really not that bad while moving if you are in a big city. Thing is great during football season. Anyone looked at one of those satellite mounts for the roof?

I've got the built in tuner on my kenwood XXV-05V. I'm not overly impressed with the reception out here in rural Wichita Kansas area. My system came with 2 powered antennas that stick on the back glass. I would think they would pick up pretty good so I'm betting they might not be setup correctly.

To override the parking sensor I attached the wire to my 12v cigarette wire and it works like a champ. For some damn reason it wouldn't let me connect that sense wire to the remote or ignition wires it just wouldn't work. Soon as I shoved it in the cigarette plug it worked. All that wire looks for is 12v.

Oh and save some cash and don't buy from crutchfield. Onlinecarstereo.com buy a refurb unit with their extended warranty will save you a ton.
