AVN5435 DVD Disc Compatibility?
So, heck... I could've already had this feature and just didn't realize it.
In summary, this disc is TOTALLY worthless (to me) then...
OH well, like I said... glad I only spent $25 on it... not $325.

F150-Truckn I tried to change my wallpaper but for some reason my avn5500 isnt reading the cd-r with the image on it...I must be doing something wrong but I could have sworn I did everything as the online manual says...Is there anyway I could send you the image via email and you could burn it onto a cd for me, test it in your truck, and then mail it to me? I would REALLY appreciate it if you could. Thanks again.

Don't know if I should reply as you'll just put some ugly old 'noles image on the screen.
Some things I found out on my AVN6600 that the instructions weren't real clear.
1) The disk you create goes in the Map slot, not the DVD/CD slot.
2) The text content can be anything, but the file must have the specific name as in the Eclipse instructions of CSM.TXT.
3) I would keep the name simple to start off and use something like 1.jpg or FSU1.jpg or NOLES.JPG.
4) Check the settings on your burner and make sure you are recording in an ISO9660 format and you finalize the disk so that nothing can be added in the future.
5) If the button comes up greyed out to change the image, engage parking brake (if you haven't already grounded that connection).
Hope this helps.
