Eclipse AVN6600 Navigation Capabilities

I am about to purchase the Eclipse AVN6600 HU. Anyone that has this unit can you tell me how well the navigation system works vs something like the portabe Garmin C330 or the Alpine Blackbird ??? I travel extensively and need the navigation to work very well. Thanks for any help you may offer.

AVN50d

I own the AVN50d and the GPS is sweet. I would suspect they use similar functions on the 6600 with better graphics. Don't know that you can find gas stations or restaurants on the Garmin (can't on mine). For grins I selected restaurants in the POI menu and found all the McDonalds within the county. I selected one on the touch screen and Bridget (or Angelina if you prefer) led me directly to it. It displays speed and direction on screen and accuracy is pretty tight. Split screens for tight view while watching wide view. Of course, for 1400 taco's it better be pretty d#&* accurate.

I live by my eclipse nav. I have the avn5495 myself, but install navs for a living and the eclipse models have been rock solid. The 6600 is a great piece and has a ton of features including the dual drives and multizone capability. The Blackbird and garmin are not in the same league. Indash is by far the way to go, period.
