Navigation and steering wheel controls..?

I have a 2005 Lariat with controls on the steering wheel. I am looking at an Eclipse AVN5435 navigation system. Is there any way to keep the controls (volume, track,) on the steering wheel and still remove the stock radio?

I was looking into getting an Eclipse audio, video, navigation system and was getting a quote and the guy said do I have steering wheel controls? And I have a lariat too and said yeah. And he said if you want those to work with the nav system we can. So I can say yes, there's a way to get the steering wheel controls to work with the nav system. idk the extra components you need tho. I was speaking to a rep from signature audio usa they were at Barrett Jackson in AZ.
