I am soon to install an eclipse 5435 in my 2006 KR, back-up cameras are cool and all. But 500 times cooler would be a forward looking thermal imaging camera in the grille that plugs into the navigation unit and shows on the screen. Cadillac has a thermal imaging system in some of their cars that projects onto a heads up display on the windshield. I think it would be very feasible to do this with an in dash screen as well. Any one with thermal camera experience or experience with the Cadillac system let me know what you think. Or better yet feel free to steal my idea and do it and then give me all the part numbers lol.
