Is this possible?

Ok, so I have over 600 music videos. Currently I burn the videos to a DVD in order to play them in my vehicle. What I would like to know is if there is a way (or device) that I could store all the videos in, like a hard drive I could load the videos to and then plug that into a head unit. I searched and couldn’t find anything so I thought I would just ask you guys if you knew of anything. Thannks for the help!

You can get an iPod Video. The quality isn't all that great on big screens, but it looks alright on a 7" screen. You would have to get software to convert the video to mpeg 4 files. That's what I did until my truck got violated last month! Works pretty nice and you can put some music on it too.

Ive got some friends that build custom vehicles and were going to be putting a computer system in the next one. In reality, you can pick up a capable computer form under $150 on eBay, the carputer software is pretty much free as far as I can tell, and a touch screen is under $200. Slap a mamma jamma hard drive in that setup and load the DVDs on there. Its like BAM!
