Pioneer AVH-P6800DVD double din touch screen.

has anyone seen this?

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-taO9bPR...130AVHP680#Tab

it looks like the other pioneer double din touchscreen radios (avic z1, d1 or d2), but without the built in navigation. without the built in navigation makes the radio cheaper in price.

can anyone tell if there alot of features missing on the p6800dvd that the other units have? i wouldnt mind saving $500 now to get this radio without the navigation if it works just as good with the ipod, and sirius as the avic z1 does.

I believe I saw this at the shop before although it was in a box. In my opinion if navigation isn't important to you at all you might want to take a look at the Alpine IVA-W200. I say this mainly because of its huge advantage of the high-speed ipod control using a single cable (no box to hassle with). Furthermore getting the Alpine should be around that price if not lower (Crutchfield: 999.99 for H/U, 30 for iPod Cable, ~99 for Sirius or XM). Although the pioneer has its own advantages, if it wasn't for the navigation and overall features (like BT caller ID) I would have gone for the Alpine. Being a Z1 user myself, I just suck it up because I need all that other stuff but you're in a different boat. However in the long run it is your choice
