Do any of you guys know if I can use the DVD players AUX input to play MP3's and ect?? I know it has two jacks on the bottom of the DVD player that work fine. I was thinking of hacking into the harness to make my MP3’s in the Carputer play through the Stereo.

I am going to build a Carputer and put the motorized monitor where the ash tray is and use the fake wood to keep the motorized unit covered up. I want to put the stereo in AUX and have it play my MP3's from the Carputer. Is this possible? Do I just have to find the correct AUX connections from the wiring harness for left and right?

 

Did you ever hacking into the harness or put the motorized monitor where the ash tray is ? If so any pics.

 

Nope, I ended up getting a NAV from an F350 and installing it. Plays my MP3's and is able to function with my RES.
