Eclipse AVN5495 Question

For those of you who have this unit installed with additional monitors... First question, do you have to stop the vehicle to start a video? Second question, I noted on the fujitsu site that the passengers can continue to watch a DVD on the add on monitors while the HU shows navigation on the dash during driving. Is this correct? Does the Navigation interrupt the playback of the DVD on the other monitors at all? I'm ready to upgrade to this HU, but I really want to make sure that it's going to work the way I want it to. How about the back up camera...do you have to wait for the Eclipse to go through all of the warning screens as with other units before it will show the view through the camera? or does it automatically come on as soon as you put the vehicle in reverse? Any answers will be helpful.

Already figured this stuff out. I don't care about XM, and the on board music storage is just a bonus, not a requirement for me. Obviously if you only owned it for one day, is it fair to say that you can't address my actual questions?

I've installed the AVN5495 and after starting the engine my reverse camera comes on immediately when you put the truck in reverse. It then goes to the disclaimer screen if it hasn't already been shown.

I haven't installed any rear seat monitors yet so I can't answer your question about DVD playback.

I've used the memory stick option for a few mp3s and they play just fine.

Thanks for that bit of info. Very Helpful. Anyone else have experience with this unit and can answer my questions?

I had a couple of 64/128/256 SONY memory sticks leftover from my SONY digital camera after I upgraded to a 1 gig stick.
