Kenwood install questions
I am looking to install a new Kenwood DDX8017 and have the operator/install manuals. If anyone has any answers, they would be greatly appreciated.
1. Where/how does the Kenwood/sirius radio module hook in - not shown on installation diagrams.
2. Plan on using B/U camera with audio but unit does not show audio input for B/U camera. I want audio switched when tranny goes into reverse. Any way of assigning existing audio input to camera function?
3. Wiring diagram shows "to steering remote". Is this a steering wheel mounted remote control? If so any idea as to Kenwood model number? Can't find it mentioned in manual anywhere.
4. General question: I am planning on installing the Kenwood KNA-DV4100 Nav unit as well. I am coming from a Garmin 2620 GPS receiver that had trip function built in. Manual for Kenwood unit does not show any trip functions in their descriptions. I am assuming their isn't one, correct?
