Anyone With Kenwood DDX7015, Question??

I just noticed something this morning with my DDX7015. When I turn the lights on, the screen gets brighter. When I turn them off, it dims. This is opposite of how it should work. Has anyone else noticed this? Does yours work this way. I wondered why it was so hard to see movies during the day. Any dark seen and you could not see it at all. Turn on the lights and it was much better. Something is not right.

Nevermind. Seems to be normal again. That was weird though.

I have a kvt-815dvd. There are individual brightness and black level settings for each video setting when the headlights are turned on or off. There should be a screen button where you can adjust this. Set it with the lights both on and off and check all the video modes. That should fix any future issues.

I tried those some, not alot. The brightness did not seem to even change it. The black level did help. Question: As the unit gets older, will the screen start to get darker? I mean, if you crank the brightness and blacklight now, does that mean a shorter life for the screen? I have always wondered that.
