Hey guys, i have been waiting for the avic n2 to come out for a while and now that i have the money to do it, i find out that it cant play dvds while driving so my next option is an AVIC N1, the only problem is they are still like 1300, why is they have been out for like 2 years now. anyway, does anybody know where i can get a really good price on one?

I seem to remember that if you don't hook up the VSS wire, you can play DVDs. Or why not just put a switch in it?

 

i have been looking at the AVIC-D1 for my g/f's explorer limited. It looks sweet! Do you guys have any opinios on it?

 

D1 is okay but it does not play DVD, just DVD-ROM.......you will need to get additional DVD player to play the DVD movies or video.
