Handheld GPS Mount

Hey fella's. I have a Magellan Meridian Marine handheld GPS and am looking into mounting it inside my truck. Has anyone mounted their handheld units here? If so, post some pics or try to describe a good location to mount 'em at....

I did oen type of install for my Magellan Roadmate and another for the cell phone.

The cell phone : Pro Fit mount, installed under the radio area :

( old picture, nice part, just change the cell phone mount to mate to the new one ).
You can get a swivel for the VSM mount or a VSM legends with the swivel on it, and mount a cradle directly to it.

For the GPS I went with a Gooseneck Portable Mount. This plugs into the cig lighter and the Roadmate cradle mounts to it. I installed a cig lighter in the front of the console, so it is a bit lower. In the stock cig lighter on my '01 I did not like where it was mounted.

Either way will work, you just need the cradle for the GPS, and it will mount to either.
