Does anyone know when the AVN5495 will hit the store shelves? I'm waiting to make my HU purchase, until I see that model. Thanks!

 

Last I heard from my retailer, not till end of april. If I may, Look at the 5435. Compare features. I personally found that it wasn't worth the wait or the money.

 

I was told that the AVN5495 will be available at the end of May and here is what Eclipse told me today via an email regarding the Sirius update: Sent an email asking eclipse sales on the true story about the avn5495 getting the software upgrade for Sirius and here is there response:
Because of the different software used on the AVN5495, it requires different software for the Sirius tuner. We will have a software update for the AVN5495 in July (about 90 days) that will allow the unit to recognize and operate the Sirius tuner.

This software will be made available to all of our retailers by the end of July. No charge for the software update
