Roofmount or Remote DVD Player

Do y'all recommend I go with a roofmount built in DVD player/monitor combo or remote mount DVD player and roofmount monitor? It looks as though the monitors only are more low profile than those with built in players. Any suggestions on the best place to mount the player? I'd like itr somewhere in the truck that my wife or I could access fairly easy w/out having to pull to the side of the road.

I was pondering the same question, and went with the remote mount DVD and overhead monitor. The trend now is the "all-in-one" units but they are bulky as hell, and mostly in black. I went with the Sony Mobile DVD Dream System One (it's en route here now). ..here's a site with lots of photos but not the best price, but you can see it would match the Lt. Flint color well.

There are 3 Audio inputs allowed and I could eventually get and in-dash DVD and tap the video off it to the back monitor...and the Sony allows me to power-up/play my PSOne with great ease...

Anyway, hope this helps!
