I am trying to decide between the Eclipse and the 2 din Kenwood with navigation. Has anyone here evaluated the differences between the two units, and their plusses and minuses. I have tried to look at these at the local auto stereo stores, but it is extremely hard to do with a salesman constantly trying the hard sell. These guys make car salesman look good.

The Eclipse seems to be about $800 cheaper around here. Is the increased cost of the Kenwood justified?

 

i just installed a kenwood 815 head unit and a 4100 nav system. 7 1/2 slide out screen versus a 6 1/2 fixed screen on the 2 din. the nav is awesome and the picture quality is insane.
